Victoria Hatton

CEO, FoodHQ

 

Victoria is CEO of FoodHQ, an industry think tank to drive sustainable food systems in New Zealand. Victoria is a net zero strategist, passionate about our agriculture and food system.

With more than fifteen years’ experience working in climate change, she specialises in bridging the divide between science, policy, innovation and advocacy. Prior to FoodHQ, Victoria was a Director in the Sustainability and Climate Change team at PwC, driving innovative thinking to achieve our net zero goals.

Her experience includes leading ambitious climate action for both the UK and New Zealand governments, a stint at the UN FAO in Rome working on livestock mitigation and managing the international operations at the New Zealand Greenhouse Gas Research Centre. Earlier in her career, Victoria spent five years leading research, development, policy and strategy teams at Massey University.

FoodHQ is a partnership representing the largest collaboration of food, science and innovation in New Zealand based in Palmerston North.
