Jack Tame

Broadcaster

Jack Tame is an award-winning broadcaster with a passion for exploring new ideas, innovative technology, and the world around him. With over 15 years of experience as a journalist and presenter, Jack is a household name on New Zealand airwaves. Currently, he hosts Q+A on TVNZ1 and Saturday Mornings on Newstalk ZB, where his crisp perspective, style, and enthusiasm make for refreshing and entertaining radio.

Jack was born in Ōtautahi Christchurch, New Zealand, but his broadcasting career has taken him around the world. At just 24 years old, he became TVNZ's U.S. correspondent. He considers the highlight of his career to have interviewed Sir David Attenborough in Antarctica over a bottle of red — but he reckons being MC of E Tipu 2023 will be a close second!

In his free time, Jack enjoys tramping, reading, and expanding his knowledge by exploring new topics. With his wealth of experience, passion for exploring new ideas, and infectious energy, it's no surprise that Jack Tame has become a broadcasting legend in his own right.
