Aidan Connolly

Aidan Connolly is an accomplished leader in the agriculture and technology space. He was recently appointed as President-elect of IFAMA, a unique platform that brings together decision makers, policy shapers, and academia to address the biggest issues facing food and farming — and the E Tipu IFAMA 2023 World Conference partner alongside Boma. Aidan is committed to working with IFAMA to advance regenerative production, digital disruption, and human capital in the food and farming industry.

Aidan is also the President of AgriTech Capital, a leading resource for companies working at the intersection of agriculture and technology. He has extensive experience in strategic analysis and planning, having worked in over 100 countries and contributed to a wide range of publications in agriculture and business, including Forbes. He also serves as a Principal at Kincannon Reed, the world’s leading food and agribusiness executive search company, and as a Senior Advisor at McKinseys.

In his previous roles, Aidan was the CEO of Cainthus, a computer vision and artificial intelligence company that specialises in monitoring key farm management practices that impact nutrition, health, and the behaviour of livestock. Prior to that, he was the CIO at Alltech, a leading animal health and nutrition company.
