Mrinali Kumar

Mrinali Kumar is a young mission-driven entrepreneur, a food technologist — and avid dog lover. Named the Momentum Student Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2022 KiwiNet Commercialisation Awards, she is dedicated to leveraging her technical expertise and innovative ideas to address global challenges such as food waste and climate change.

Notably, Mrinali spearheaded the commercialisation of a cauliflower-based ice cream, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional dairy products without compromising on deliciousness. Having completed her studies in Food Technology (Hons) at Massey University in Palmerston North, Mrinali founded EatKinda to further her passion for creating impactful solutions in the food industry.
